Beloved Mexican celebrity Bianca Marroquin is equally renowned for her leading role as saucy Roxie Hart in Broadway’s “Chicago,” and for her persona as the judge on TV’s “Mira Quien Baila,” the Latin version of “Dancing With the Stars.” And now there’s more… Bianca’s solo album “El Mundo Era Mio” will hit the markets on May 13, offering as much versatility.

Bianca Marroquin is the first Mexican actress to have a starring role on Broadway and she is one of the youngest actresses to play Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago. Coming all the way from New York City, she will be presenting an unforgettable musical number that is sure to captivate our audience.

Bianca Marroquin has also been a judge for Mira Quien Baila (the Spanish TV version of Dancing with the Stars) for four years running – and has also appeared in Pequeños Gigantes and Bailando Por Un Sueño.

The Broadway League has created Viva Broadway, a new audience development partnership with the Hispanic community, to help bridge the world of Broadway with Latino audiences around the country. In March 2014, Bianca was named the first-ever National Ambassador for Viva Broadway, a partnership between the Hispanic community and the Great White Way.






Bianca fostered the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical for “Chicago” at Washington’s Kennedy Center in 2004.

Bianca Marroquin to Release Debut Album EL MUNDO ERA MIO on 5/13

Award-winning Latina stage and screen actress Bianca Marroquin (Broadway's Chicago, TV's "Mira Quien Baila" and "Bailando por un Sueño") will release her first-ever full-length solo album El Mundo Era Mio (The World Was Mine) on Tuesday, May 13, 2014.

The 11-track album -- featuring five songs co-written by Marroquin -- is a mix of contemporary pop with a healthy splash of Latin influence, comprising live studio musicians offering a mesh of electric and acoustic guitars, piano, chamber strings, percussion and bass.

El Mundo Era Mio is being released by New York City-based Young Pals Records International, helmed by co-composers/ producers Ayhan Sahin and Dennis DelGaudio, with Album Coordinator Tom Gallaher. Famed photographer Jose Quinterolensed artwork for the album, with audio mastering by Sterling Sound.
